I found this fascinating quote today about saying "Thank-you" to people who follow your brand or company through social media:

It is truly astounding how quickly social media is overtaking conversation, advertising and practically every electronic interaction between people.

The mantra of marketing, since, well, marketing began, is "know your customer".  This has ballooned into a multi-million (if not billion) dollar per year business centered around customer polling, website metrics, and customized marketing platforms to touch every potential customer.  And yes, we're vying for our piece of that pie.

Today, we became card-carrying kiveo employees.  The new cards showed up today and are very nice. Here we go:

kiveo moved into it's new office space at 133 N Trade Street this morning. We're über excited about the new office and can't wait to welcome everyone who wants to see the ginormous new space and sit down and talk Social Media strategy and mobile application development.  Ok -- that's cheese - just stop by and say "Hi"!

Facebook's new opportunity for commerce within an application is growing faster than a speeding bullet. Kiveo has taken advantage of this feature by implementing a PayPal check-out station for one of it's facebook games, "Riddles". Gamers can of course play for free, but if they get stuck or have trouble answering a riddle, they are given the option of paying a small fee for extra hints to solve the riddle!

The Blogosphere is in Nostradamus mode over the actual release date of the new iPhone/iPod Touch 3.0 update. Like revelations, no one can actually no the day and time of the actual update will be offered. Apple has only stated that the third-generation OS will be available this summer, 2009 (WikiAnswers).  Predictions fall within this next week beginning as early as tomorrow (June 9th)! The kiveo team is forecasting June 12th. Most everyone is confident though that by the end of June 2009 we will all be functioning on the 3.0 software!
