Thanks for this, I've been burning the midnight oil trying to repair a login issue on a SS site after my client changed servers. From all the documentation it seems there's no patch, just the need to upgrade to 2.4.0. So, having following the, um, Spartan advice on the upgrade page I found that all I got was a wall of 404. So relaoded the old system files and it's running again: I'll try your method in the mornig. Thank you.
